LATIN AMERICAN COMMUNITY CLUB

Scholarships and Cultural Awarness

The Latin American Community Club is a non-profit organization chartered and established in Lawton, Oklahoma for 30 years. The main purpose of the organization is to raise money for scholarships and to promote cultural awareness among the community. We do this by having monthly dances, garage sales, bake sales, and benefit dances. During the past few years we have raised our scholarship funds from $250 to $500 and even a few $1,000. This has been made possible by donations given by local merchants. Over 100 scholarships have been given to students attending Cameron University, Great Plains Technology Center and Oklahoma University. Our thanks to the community merchants supporting our organization in making the above possible.
