Welcome to David Lester's  Painting Pages.
I am back from two months of painting in France and Italy.  My days were filled with  paintings of unique places and people.  Now I must finish them.
A note to the many people whom I met who wanted a painting:  I appreciate the encouragement, and as I finish a painting I will put it up on this site.   Please contact me by email, list which  painting you were interested in and any  appropriate information I would need to help you.

A hot day at the forum.  It was over 100 degrees.  The line  for the Colisseum took 1 1/2 hours.  The water bottle sales was the business to be in.

I think that you might enjoy viewing an artist's website from Uzes in Provence, France.  Meet Cora and  see some terrific oil and pastel paintings.   Click here now.

Another artist I recommend is Art Sherwyn

Another trumpet player who paints watercolors is my trumpet teacher, Mr. James Whitlow of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He offers a workshop in the Fall in the Jemez Mountains southwest of Santa Fe.
