Paul S. Ness, MAI has more than 15 years of experience in real estate appraising. He has appraised properties in Florida, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Property types appraised include shopping centers, office buildings, retail buildings, commercial condominiums, manufacturing buildings, warehouses, commercial/industrial land, hotels, apartments, residential condominiums, single-family dwellings, farmland and rural acreage.
Paul began his real estate career in 1984 as a residential appraiser with a financial institution in Florida. From 1987 to 1997, he worked for appraisal firms in York and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania, gaining valuable commercial and industrial experience in the south-central Pennsylvania market. In 1997, Paul joined a national bank as appraisal review officer, gaining extensive knowledge of banking regulations.
Paul has completed appraisals for financing, estate valuation, partnership liquidation, condemnation and assessment appeals. He has appeared before the assessment appeals boards of York and Lancaster Counties in Pennsylvania. In addition to being a Pennsylvania state certified general appraiser and licensed real estate broker, Paul holds the MAI designation awarded by the Appraisal Institute. He is also a member of the National, Pennsylvania and Lancaster County Associations of Realtors.
