This article ran around 1985, a satirical response to the vast catalogs of widgets found in the mainstream magazines. Not that we were above displaying widgets on the pages of the Fat Tire Flyer, but since no one ever sent us any, we were reduced to making up fictional widgets. But that's okay, because fictional widgets can do a lot more than real widgets can do.

We used such a small typeface that I had to blow these drawings up quite a bit, which ruins our clever page layout. Art by David Ross.
