First let me introduce myself. My name is Scott Fridenberg. Known in the
Society for Creative Anachronism as Robert Fitzmorgan. I have been in the SCA since 1985 and live in the Barony of Northkeep in the Kingdom of Ansteorra. First let me introduce myself. My name is Scott Fridenberg. Known in the
Society for Creative Anachronism as Robert Fitzmorgan. I have been in the SCA since 1985 and live in the Barony of Northkeep in the Kingdom of Ansteorra.
My persona is that of a 12th C. Troubadour living in the region of southern France modernly known as Provance. In the SCA I am a Bard, a Warrior and a Brewer. I am the current Bard of Eldern Hills,and Northern Regional Bard, former bard of Elfsea and Mooneschadowe, and have twice been the Bard of Northkeep. I am apprinticed to Mistress Catrin ferch Gwillym. As a bard my primary intrests are the works of the troubadours, and the Chivalric Romances of Charlemange, Roland and Arthur.
I am also working on a webpage to serve as a resorce for those interested in Troubadour studies. I have noted a lack of useful information on the internet about the Troubadours. I will also add an online version of my guide to writing period verse forms.
