Wade and Mollie The potluck in honor of Wade and Mollie was this past Sunday. It was a good time of food, fellowship, and laughter. Wade and Mollie will be leaving tomorrow, Thursday, for Abilene. Mollie will begin school this coming semester; she will finish her schooling in May of 2001. Wade will begin graduate work in the fall of 2001. Let's pray for God's blessing on them in this new part of their life.
Christmas Eve Service
Last year's Christmas Eve service was very successful. If you would like to help out with this service, or just have some ideas, please contact Barbara Hoffbauer (662-6715).
Notice Rhiannon Cossey, because of specific circumstances, cannot receive a flu shot. If you get the flu this year, she asks that you stay away from her and her family so that she will not be exposed.
Thank Yous Los Alamos Church of Christ, Thank you for your gift for our new son, Ethan. (Born 11/4, 7lbs 13onz, 19") Jaclyn and I are starting to find out how expensive children are; your gift will certainly help in offsetting that. In addition to the money, thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Please continue to pray for Jaclyn, myself, and Ethan, especially that Jaclyn and I would be loving, wise, and godly parents to Ethan. Love, Doug, Jaclyn, and Ethan Dahlby
To the Los Alamos Church of Christ, We just wanted to send you a huge thank you for the very generous gift. What an incredible blessing it was to receive your gift especially so close to the due date! We are hoping to come and visit in January to show off our new addition! God Bless, Jeff and Jill White
Youth Group Hey youth type people: we will be having our Christmas party this Sunday, December 17, at Travis and Melissa Brown's house (2450 Club Road). Please come with a gift of five dollars or less to exchange. These gifts will make up our annual White Elephant (or Dirty Santa) game. Also, please bring something suitable for snacking. Drinks will be provided.
Clendenen Update Dear friends and family: Dad was released from the hospital on Saturday Dec. 9th and returned to the Rotary House home away from home. He is getting around on both the crutches and in the wheelchair. His is continuing to get stronger. On Sunday we were able to get dad outside for the first time in 2 weeks. It was a pleasant and energizing wheelchair trip which lasted over an hour. Mom, Llon and I walked with him. (Leta went back to Los Alamos on Saturday.)
