Recording a Macro

	•	Click on the menu bar Tools | Macros | Record (or Ctrl-F10).

	•	Type a filename and click OK.

	•	Perform whatever actions you wish to record.

	•	Click Tools | Macros | Record (or Ctrl-F10) to remove the check mark and stop recording.

	•	Normally, macros are kept in a particular folder as designated in the Settings. There may also be a supplemental macros folder designated in the Settings. You may record, store, and play macros from any folder but it is recommended you keep them in your macros folder or your supplemental macros folder.

You can check your Settings in WP 8 or 9 by clicking the menu bar item Tools | Settings (Edit | Preferences in WP7) and then double-clicking the Files icon. Then click the Macro/Merge tab.

Playing Macros

	•	Click on the menu bar Tools | Macros | Play (or Alt-F10).

	•	Select the macro to play from the file dialog box.

	•	Recently played macros appear at the bottom of the popup menu when you click Tools | Macros.

	•	You can assign macros to a toolbar, a menu or to a keystroke.
