Lisa Ann
I built the Lisa Ann in 1978. The hull is long leaf southern yellow pine; (old growth) striped planked with one inch strips.

The lines are from launch number four 1869 Mare Island Naval Shipyard.

The engine is a two-cylinder compound 3 x 5 x 4 built to my own design.

The boiler is also my own, designed with the  features of other boilers I liked. It is the only one I know of with a water cooled grate.
The boiler has forty-eight square feet of heating area.

Model Tug
The Tug is my first steamboat. Built in the early seventies with the bread and butter type of     construction.

She is powered with a Stuart Turner two cylinder launch engine.

The boiler is six inches by twelve inches, three pass return tubular Scotch type by K-N-Harris.

The burner is of the vaporizing white gas type. This Tug will run for two hours at 110 lb.        pressure.
