Uncle Wang randomly chooses among
approximately equal moves during all
phases of the game to ensure varied play.
You will appreciate this feature if you
have experience with some of the other
Chinese Chess (xiangqi) programs out
there. Against some of them, you can
play the same game over and over by
simply making the same moves every
game. This is rather fun when you win
a game, because now you know how
to beat the computer any time you wish.
The novelty quickly wears off however,
and soon you will find yourself longing
for a less predictable opponent.
